I think that it would be very hard for myself to believe we only use 10% of our brain because just from me writing this blog I'm using my vision which is one part of my brain, im moving my legs which is another part, im writing and that's just some of the many things I'm doing. So saying that doing all those little things only uses 10% is crazy, and like one of the facts that the brain uses 20% of our daily energy means that we must be using a lot of brain power to take up that much percentage.

i agree that it really doesnt seem right to say we only use 10% of our brain. People have too much knowledge! we need do use all of our brain to hold all of that!
It really doesn't make much sense for people to only use 10% of their brains considering all the things we do throughout the day. I thought it was funny though because I've heard this myth a lot, including on t.v., and I wonder if they knew it wasn't true.
That is interesting to hear. I think most people don't think about how much we do in one day. Simple things like breathing and walking we don't even think about and yet we tell ourselves to do it with our brain. 10% is so little for all of the functions we do through the duration of even just a day.
It's implausible to believe that humans use 10% of their brains because of all the advancements in technology and also the method of thinking(scientific method). While we may not have discovered all of the secrets of the brain and how it functions, it's safe to say that we have discovered a majority of them.
I wouldn't have believed that the brain only uses 10% because by looking at the picture of the brain we use all of those things everyday so it would make sense if we only used 10%.

if you only use 10% of our brain then why do they why did god create for our bain to be big?????
